You're officially being marked as a tourist. As fun as it looks, you are doing touristy things in your own home town {at least that's where I figure you live}. That's like a NYer going to the Statue of Liberty... it's just not supposed to happen.
BTW, I was in London a few months ago and the Eye was quite tempting to go on. I feel where you're coming from.
But on a serious note, amazing picture. The quality is a little shaky {darn nighttime shutters} but the angle brings out the thrill of the ride. Makes the viewer want to come along.
As i explained before, i was showing around an American friend who came to visit. Therefore, i did a lot of touristy things that week...
However, i have no problem being earmarked as a toursit as I'm totally a dork like that... i just love being one!
But there are some seriously amazing places in London that aren't quite as distinctivly Toursit orientated that i like to frequent, so i'm not a completely hopeless case.
thanks for the compliment though, i know nightime is a problem. this was an especially challenginng setting as i was in a glass capsule at night and it was raining, which presented problems in abundence, and this was probably the best shot i got out of the evening. (i do intend to invest ina tripod to help with the shake!)
oh, and the Eye is not a "thrilling" ride, it just presents great 360 views of a fabulous city!
